3 MILE SCREAM: 'Our Blackened Sun' Video Posted Online

June 14, 2007

Canada's 3 MILE SCREAM has posted its Chad Archibald-directed (ARISE AND RUIN) video for the track "Our Blackened Sun" at YouTube.

Commented frontman Matt McGachy: "Shooting the video was such an amazing experience to take part in. The director was very easy going and was open to all of our ideas and input. The only part which was a bit unpleasant was the after-effects of shooting for ten hours straight at full tilt. All of our bodies hated us, and they definitely were not shy about letting us know about it."

Added bassist Mike Marino: "The shoot made us realize just how much work goes into the creating a video. It tested our limits physically having to go full tilt, take after take to get it all on film. It was a great experience, the video looks sick and we look forward sharing it with everyone."

The track comes off the group's recently released Corporate Punishment debut, "A Prelude To Our Demise". The album has prompted a plethora of critical acclaim from critics and fans, including LAMB OF GOD's Randy Blythe, who described the band as "artfully orchestrated brutality" and Chris "OJ" Ojeda of BYZANTINE who said, "Not since STRAPPING YOUNG LAD has Canada had a band put the M in metal like 3 MILE SCREAM. Their live show is unparalleled."
